“Go ye therefore into all the world, and proclaim the Glad Tidings to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved (delivered, set free, rescued, healed and restored
whole) . . . !” Mark 16:15-18
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that proclaimeth Peace (Shalom between GOD and men) . . . that proclaimeth Salvation; that sayeth unto Zion,
Thy God Reigneth !” Isaiah 52:7
Do we have the assurance of His Word, and the faith to proclaim such a powerful message as this ?
“And when He (Jesus, Yehushua) was come into the temple . . . . know ye not that ye are the temple of God . . . the chief priests and elders of the people came unto Him as He was teaching. and said, By what authority doest Thou these things? And who gave Thee this authority ?” Matthew 21:23 & ref: I Corinthians 3:16
For Jesus had “went into the temple of God, and began to cast out all . . . !” Mark 11:15, Matthew 21:12
“And they were astonished at His doctrine (teaching), for His Word was with power . . . for He spake, and it was done, He commanded, and it stood fast . . . . And in the synagogue (tabernacle, local temple) there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean (lewd) devil, which cried out with a loud voice, saying . . . ref: Psalm 33:6-9
Let us alone; what have we to do with Thee, Thou Jesus of Nazareth ? art Thou come to destroy us? I know Thee Who Thou art; the Holy One of GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) !
And Jesus (Yehushua – Yehuwah’s Salvation) rebuked him (the devil), saying, Hold thy peace (be quiet), and come out of him (My temple) . . . ! And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a Word is this! for with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out ! And the fame of Him went out into every place of the country round about !” Luke 4:31-37
“Now, when He had ended all His sayings in the audience of the people, He entered into Capernaum. And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick, and ready to die. And when he heard of Jesus (Yehushua), he sent unto Him the elders of the Jews, beseeching Him that He would come and heal his servant.
And when they came to Jesus, they besought Him instantly (immediately), saying, That he (the centurion) was worthy for whom He should do this . . . . Then Jesus went with them. And when He was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying unto Him, Lord (Adoni – Sovereign), trouble not Thyself, for I am not worthy that Thou shouldest enter under my roof !
Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto Thee . . . But speak the Word only, and my servant shall be healed ! For I am a man under authority, also having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come here, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it !
And when Jesus (Yehushua) heard these things, He marvelled, and turned around, and said to the people that followed Him . . . . Verily, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel . . . . And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; And as thou hast believed; So be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour !” Luke 7:1-10 & Matthew 8:5-13
“And straightway on the Sabbath day (Exodus 20:4-8), He entered into the synagogue, and taught. And they were astonished at His doctrine (teaching): for He taught them as One that had authority, and not as the scribes ! . . . . And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying,
What thing is this? What new doctrine (teaching) is this? For with authority commandeth He even the unclean spirits, and they do obey Him !” Mark 1:21-28
“And it came to pass, when Yehushua (Jesus) had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine (teachings) . . . For He taught them as One having authority, and not as the scribes !” Matthew 7:28-29
authority = (G1849), privilege, freedom, force, power, delegated influence, jurisdiction, liberty, strength
and right !
“And they come again to Jerusalem: and as He was walking in the temple . . . . For ye are the temple of the Living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them . . . . there come to Him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, and say unto Him, ref: II Corinthians 6:16
By what authority doest Thou these things? . . . . the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up . . . the devils are cast out . . . and the poor have the Glad Tidings preached unto them ! . . . . And who gave Thee this authority to do these things ?”
Mark 11:27-28 & Matthew 11:4-6 & Mark 1:32-39
Who gave Thee this authority . . . ?
Note: Will not this very same question be asked of GOD’s children and servants living now, in these last days ?
And what will our answer be ? As the LORD (Yehuwah) brought this question before my mind this week, He reminded me also that before we called He will answer, and while we were yet speaking He will hear . . . !
Dominion given to the Son of God ?
Genesis 1:26-28 –
“And God (Elohim) said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them (male and female) have dominion over . . . all the earth. So God created man in His image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God Blessed them (ref: Galatians 3:14), and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply . . . and have dominion !” Genesis 1:26-28
So how did Adam, the first prince of this world lose the dominion (power and authority) which was given him by our Father in heaven ?
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; but the last Adam (Christ Jesus) a Quickening (life-giving) Spirit !” I Corinthians 15:45
“And Jesus (Yehushua) Himself began to be about thirty years of age, being as (as was supposed) the Son of Joseph . . . which was the Son of David . . . which was the Son of Abraham . . . which was the Son of Noah . . . which was the Son of Adam, which was the (created) son of GOD !” Luke 3:23-38
“For the Word (Life giving Spirit) was made flesh, and dwelt among us !” John 1:14
The first man Adam lost dominion when he yielded himself as a servant to obey Satan, that old serpent, the devil.
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey; his servants (slaves) ye are to whom ye
obey . . . !” Romans 6:16
Adam in the garden, lost that dominion as the prince of this world, when he, through lack of faith (trust) in God’s Word, listened to the lies of the devil. For did not the serpent tell Adam and Eve, “if you obey me, and eat of this tree, then ye shall be as (like) gods !”
Had not the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) already assured them, that they were verily made in His Own image and His likeness ?
O that Adam might have listened and believed !
“But now we see Jesus (Yehushua), Who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, Crowned with glory and honour; that He by the Grace (Divine Influence – Spirit) of GOD should taste death for every man !” Hebrews 2:9
As Adam was tempted by Satan in the perfect beauty of Eden, so Jesus was tempted, but in a dry and wasted desert. As Adam was tempted while still in his sinless perfection, so Christ endured every temptation, but while in the likeness of sinful flesh. ref: Romans 8:3-4 and Romans 5:12-21
“For as by one man’s offence death reigned by one (Adam); how much more shall they which receive by faith abundance of Grace (the Divine Influence – Spirit) and of the gift of Righteousness, shall Reign in Life by One, Jesus Christ !” Romans 5:17
“For the Son of man is as a Man taking a far journey . . . I go to prepare a place for you . . . Who left His house, and gave authority to His servants, and to every man his work . . . !” Mark 13:34 and ref: John 14:3
“And when He had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He (Jesus) gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness, and all manner of disease. . . . And He said, As ye go, preach (proclaim) saying,
The Kingdom (Sovereign, Reign, King) of heaven is at hand ! Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils (evict them) ! freely ye have received, freely give in return !” Matthew 10:1-8
“Then He called His twelve disciples together, and gave them power* and authority* (jurisdiction, dominion) over all devils, and to cure disease. And He sent them to preach (proclaim) the Kingdom (Sovereign Reign) of God, and to heal the sick !” Luke 9:1-2
“After these things the Lord (Sovereign, King) appointed seventy also, and sent them two and two before His Face (appearance) into every city whither He Himself would come. Therefore said He unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: Pray ye therefore the LORD of the harvest, that He would send forth more labourers into His harvest !” Luke 10:1-2 ref: Matthew 13:37-43 & Daniel 12:1-3
“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord (Sovereign King), even the devils are subject unto us through Thy Name ! and He said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven (why are you so surprised, It was I Who cast him out) ! Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions (ref: Acts 28:1-9), and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you !”
Luke 10:17-19
“And He said unto them, Go ye therefore into all the world, and proclaim the Glad Tidings to every creature. he that believeth and is baptized (with the Spirit, born again, ref: Titus 3:5, and Luke 3:16) shall be saved (delivered, set free, rescued, healed and restored whole) !
But he that believeth not, shall be damned (condemned) . . . For this is the condemnation, that Light (the revelation of the character of GOD) is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil . . . . ref: John 3:19 & II Corinthians 4:3-6.
And these signs shall follow them that believe, In My name (Jesus Christ, Yehushua ha Moshiac) shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (languages); they shall take up* (loose the hold of) serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; and they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover !” Mark 16:15-20
“Beloved, now are we also the sons of God . . . That we should shew forth the praises of Him Who hath called you out of the darkness and into His marvellous Light !” I John 3:2 & I Peter 2:9
May the Lord Jesus Christ (Adoni Yehushua ha Moshiac) Bless you and your families this week,
with wisdom and strength, and in the knowing of Him ! And may we each walk in holiness, and the power of His Spirit, in humility and love, seeking Salvation for the thousands we meet each day !
