And He Shall Reign !

“Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for Great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst (heart) of thee!” Isaiah 12:1-6

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God (Elohim) dwelleth in you ?”I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20 & II Corinthians 6:14-16

How can we allow Him to reign as the Sovereign King in our Lives ? . . . As Victor and Conqueror over all the enemies of our soul ? And learn to walk in the Power of His Spirit Today ?

“And David My Servant shall be King over them; (And My Beloved Servant shall reign) and they all shall have One Shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them . . . And My Servant David shall be their Prince for ever.

Moreover I will make a Covenant of Peace with them. And It shall be an Everlasting Covenant with them ! And I will place them, and multiply them, and I will set My Sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

And My tabernacle (habitation) also shall be with them: Yea, I will be their God (Elohim), and they shall be My people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD (Yehuwah) do sanctify Israel (to make, to pronounce ceremonially and morally clean, dedicate, consecrate, purify), when* My Sanctuary (holy palace, consecrated, asylum) shall be in the midst of them for evermore!” Ezekiel 37:24-28

Note: Let us take a closer look at each section of this Scripture (Ezekiel 37:26-28), and ask the LORD to show us what exactly is being described ? The Words and phrases in these verse are very familiar. We have been told to compare Scripture with Scripture; line upon line, precept upon precept . . . And allow the Bible to explain Itself. What beauty and majesty are hidden within It’s sacred pages . . . if only we will ask and seek !

(A) “My tabernacle (habitation) also shall be with them: Yea, I will be their God (Elohim) . . !”

‘Therefore the Lord (Adoni – Sovereign) Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son,
and shall call His name Immanuel . . . which being interpreted is God (Elohim) with us !’

Isaiah 7:14 & Matthew 1:23

“. . . and The glory of this Latter House shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: And in this place will I give Peace (shalom – Rest, welfare, safety, health, favour, amends, perfect, complete, restoration), saith the LORD of hosts !” Haggai 2:9

“And to this agree the Words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the Tabernacle of David (the Beloved), which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set It up: That the residue (remnant) of men might seek after the LORD, and all the Gentiles, upon whom My name is called, saith the LORD Who doeth all these things !” Acts 15:15-17

‘Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up . . . But this He spake of the temple of His body !’ John 2:19

‘For He shall be for a Sanctuary (refuge, hiding place); and for a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin (spread net) and for a snare (trap) to the inhabitants of Jerusalem . . .’ Isaiah 8:14

‘And a Stone of stumbling, and a Rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient . . . !’ I Peter 2:8

“And the heathen (unbelieving) shall know that I the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) do sanctify (consecrate, pronounce clean) Israel, when My Sanctuary shall be in the midst (heart) of them for evermore !” Ezekiel 37:28

“O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do Thou it for Thy name’s sake, for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against Thee! O the Hope of Israel, the Saviour thereof in the time of trouble, Why shouldest Thou be a s a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry but for a night?

Why shouldest Thou be as a man astonied (astonished, dumbfounded), as a mighty man that cannot Save?
yet Thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us, and we are called by Thy name; leave us not . . . .” Jeremiah 14:7-9

“What shall I say? He hath both spoken unto me, and Himself hath done it ! . . . . O Lord (Adoni – the Sovereign King), by these Thy Words men live, and in these is the Life of my spirit . . . . Behold, for Peace I had great bitterness: but Thou hast in love to my soul delivered me from the pit of corruption: for Thou hast cast all my sins behind Thy back . . . !” Isaiah 38:15-17
　

“The Word of the LORD also came unto me, saying, Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house . . . .”
Ezekiel 12:1-2

“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD (Adoni Yeh-ho-vee’); I do not this for your sake’s, O house of Israel, but for Mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify My great name (I AM THAT I AM), which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them . . . .　

And the heathen (unbelieving) shall know that I Am the LORD (Yehuwah – I AM THAT I AM), saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes !” Ezekiel 36:22-23

“So will I make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not let them pollute My holy name . . . . take My name in vain ! . . . any more. And the heathen shall know that I Am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel !”
Ezekiel 39:7 & Exodus 20:7

“For thy Maker is thy Husband . . . for we are the bride of Christ . . . the LORD of hosts is His name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God (Elohim – Mighty One) of the whole earth shall He be called !”
Isaiah 54:5 7 ref: II Corinthians 11:2

‘And there was in their synagogue (church) a man with an unclean (lewd) spirit; and he (the spirit) cried out, saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with Thee, Thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art Thou come to destroy us? I know Thee Who Thou art, the Holy One of GOD !’ Mark 1:23-24

“And He said unto me, Son of man, the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet (My Rest), where I dwell in the midst of the children of Israel . . . . all those who are of faith . . . . for ever, and My holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile . . . by their whoredom . . . And I will dwell in the midst of them for ever !” Ezekiel 43:7-9 & ref: Galatians 3:6-7

“For the LORD hath taken away thy judgments, He hath cast out thine enemy: The King of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shall not see evil any more. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem . . . My city, and the people which are called by My name . . . Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack !
ref: Daniel 9:19

For the LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty (powerful, warrior, mighty man, champion, valiant); He will Save (rescue, succor, set free, defend, gain victory, avenge) !” Zephaniah 3:15-17

“And He will cause to come down for you the Rain, the Former (Early) Rain, and the Latter Rain in the first month (ref: Exodus 12:1-2) . . . . And ye shall know that I Am in the midst of Israel, and that I Am the LORD your God, and none else: and My people shall never be ashamed !” Joel 2:23,27

“Then shall we know . . . even as we are known . . . if we follow on to know the LORD: His going forth (spring, fountain) is prepared (as faithful) as the morning; And He shall come unto us as the Rain, as the Latter and the Former rain unto the earth !” Hosea 6:3 & I Corinthians 13:12

“Sing and rejoice O daughter of Zion: for Lo, I Come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. And many nations shall be joined to the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) in that day, and shall be My people. And I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent Me unto thee !

For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her (Jerusalem, the daughter of Zion) a wall of Fire round about, and I will be the Glory in the midst of her !” Zechariah 2:10-11, 5

‘Behold My Servant, Whom I have Chosen, My Beloved in Whom I Am well pleased: I will put My Spirit upon Him . . .’ Matthew 12:18

‘Even He shall build the temple of the LORD; and He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon His throne; and He shall be a Priest upon His throne: and the counsel of Peace shall be between Them Both !’ Zechariah 6:13　

My tabernacle (habitation) also shall be with them: Yea, I will be their God (Elohim), and they shall be My people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD (Yehuwah) do sanctify Israel (to make, to pronounce ceremonially and morally clean, dedicate, consecrate, purify), when* My Sanctuary (holy palace, consecrated, asylum) shall be in the midst of them for evermore!” Ezekiel 37:21-28

‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the LORD of hosts !’ Zechariah 4:6

‘And I will sanctify My Great name (Jehovah – I AM THAT I AM), which ye have profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I Am the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah), saith Yehuwah Elohim, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes !

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and I will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean Water upon you, and ye shall be clean! from all your filthiness, and from all your idols will I cleanse you. And a new heart also will I give you, and a new Spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart* out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.’
Ezekiel 36:23-26

“Now (and) there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven . . . . And Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said . . . This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh . . . !” Acts 2:5,14-17

‘For the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life !’

‘Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you !’ John 6:63 & 15:3

“Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the Words of My mouth. For My doctrine (teaching) shall drop as the Rain, My speech shall distil as the Dew . . . as the Showers upon the grass !”
Deuteronomy 32:1-2

Note: The First Covenant was made by Jehovah with the people of Israel from the top of mount Sinai; The Almighty God revealed His power and glory while speaking His Will, (His eternal law) and unfolding His holy purpose for His people. But because of their unbelief, provisions were made (added) by the LORD in the cases of failure. Thus were given the instructions for sacrifice and offerings.

But this was not, nor ever has been Jehovah’s true desire; For He saith . . .

‘For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices. But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be your God (Almighty One), and ye shall be My people !’ Jeremiah 7:22-23

Under the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 and then affirmed again in Hebrews 8:8-12, there is no mention of failure (ref: Romans 13:14). The penalty has already been paid; once and for all; for every sin, every transgression, and iniquity. For this Covenant (Oath) was made with Christ Jesus, by Christ Jesus and through Christ to His people. For He is the Lamb of God which taketh away (blots out – ref: Isaiah 43:25 and Psalm 51:9, ) the sinof the world !

‘Behold My Servant, Whom I uphold; Mine Elect in Whom My soul delighteth; I have put My Spirit upon Him: and He shall bring forth Judgment (justice, vindicate) to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench: till He shall bring forth judgment unto Truth.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for His law . . .

For I the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) have called Thee in righteousness, and will hold Thy hand, and will keep Thee, and give Thee for a Covenant of the people, for a Light to the Gentiles.’ Isaiah 42:1-6

‘And He shall be a Priest upon His throne: and the counsel of Peace shall be between Them Both !’
Zechariah 6:13

‘For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; But My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the Covenant of My Peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee !’ Isaiah 54:10

Sanctuary = consecrated, chapel, holy place, (from: kaw-dash – holy, pronounced and made clean, dedicated, hallowed and purified !

Note: The LORD is here describing the “cleansing of His temple;” His holy place, the tabernacle of the congregation. This ‘mystery which was hidden from ages and from generations,’ is now been revealed unto us thr-ough the holy prophets and apostles under the New Covenant,and made manifest in the Life of His Dear Son. For in the Life of Christ Jesus, Jehovah has demonstrated the mystery of His eternal power; that God (Elohim) will not only dwell with man, but in man. He will become One in us, through His Son! The Life of Christ can and will be manifest once again in human flesh; For every child of the Most High, through absolute faith in His exceeding great and precious Promises, may live in complete victory over sin, the devil, and all the desires of the fallen nature.

This New Covenant , the Oath and Promise, was made unto Abraham, the Father of the faithful (those who are full of faith), and to his Seed . . . which Seed is Christ (the Anointed – Galatians 3:16) . . . . The Oath, and Cov-enant was made to Israel, but neither because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called . . . Romans 9:7

‘That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of GOD: but the children of the Promise are counted (reckoned) as the seed !’ Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore, that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham . . . . For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus ! Romans 9:8 & Galatians 3:6-7, 26

Now we brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of Promise (Galatians 4:28) !

And this Word of Promise was made between The Almighty Father and His Only Begotten Son Jesus (Yehushua); and then this Promise was manifest in human flesh . . . For the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us . . . through the faith of His Son. And through this One most miraculous event, The Father demonstr-ated the power of His Living Spirit-filled Word. Not only to create worlds, suns and stars; but to recreate man anew in the image of the Most High !

‘That the Blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the Promise of the Spirit through faith ! . . . and that the Promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to all them that believe !’ Galatians 3:14,22

‘Being born (begotten) again, not of corruptible seed, but of Incorruptible, by the Word of GOD, which liveth and abideth forever !’ I Peter 1:23 and ref: Luke 8:10-11

And all of this miraculous work is done by Faith in His spoken and Living Word !　

“Thus saith the LORD; I Am returned unto Zion, and I will dwell in the midst (heart) of Jerusalem . . . the city and people which are called by My Name . . . And Jerusalem shall be called a city of Truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts, shall be called the Holy Mountain. ref: Daniel 9:19

. . . And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the Remnant of this people in these final days, should it also be marvellous in Mine eyes? . . . Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will Save My people from the east country, and from the west country . . . .

‘The Mighty God (Elohim), even the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah), hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined !’ Psalm 50:1-2

‘That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none like Me. I Am the LORD,
and there is none else !’ Isaiah 45:6

And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God (Elohim – Almighty One), in Truth and in Righteousness ! ref: Hebrews 12:18-24

‘By the which Will (predetermined purpose, volition) we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all !’ ref: Hebrews 10:10-17

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these last days these Words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the Foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the Temple of the LORD might be built !”
Zechariah 8:3-9

“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD (Adoni Yeh-hu-vee’), Behold, I lay in Zion for a Foundation, a Stone, a tried Stone, a precious Corner Stone, a Sure Foundation . . . and upon this Rock, I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it ! . . . he that believeth shall not make haste (stumble, or be dismayed) !”
Isaiah 28:16 & Matthew 16:18

“And the glory of this Latter House shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place (Jerusalem) will I give Peace (Shalom – safety, health, Rest) !”
Haggai 2:9
