God is moving upon every mind that is open to
receive the impressions of His Holy Spirit. He is
sending out messengers that they may give the warn-ings in every locality. God is testing the devotion of His churches, and their willingness to render obedience to the Spirit’s guidance. Knowledge is to be increased. The messengers of heaven are to be seen running to and fro, seeking in every way possible to warn the people of the coming judgments, and presenting the Glad Tidings of Salvation(deliver-ance, freedom, victory, healing and restoration) through our Lord Jesus Christ (Adoni Yehushua ha Moshiac). The standard of righteousness is to be exalted !
. . . . And as they let their light shine they receive more and more of the Spirit’s power. The earth is lighted with the glory of God !
The Spirit of God is moving upon men’s hearts, and those who respond to its Influence will become lights in the world. Everywhere they are seen going forth to communicate to others the Light they have received, as they did after the descent of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.
AUCR, April 1, 1898 par. 16
Jesus longs to bestow the heavenly endowment in large measure upon His people. Prayers are ascending to God daily for the fulfillment of the Promise, and not one of the prayers put up in faith is lost. [Prayers are ascending daily for it. Are your prayers amongst them?] Christ ascended on high, leading captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. When after Christ’s ascension, the Spirit came down as promised, like a rushing, mighty wind, filling the whole place where the disciples were assembled, what was the effect? Thousands were converted in a day. We have taught, we have expected that an angel is to come down from heaven, that the earth will be lightened with His glory !
(ref: Revelation 18:1-3).
Then we shall behold an ingathering of souls similar to that witnessed on the day of Pentecost. But this angel comes bearing no soft, smooth message, but words calculated to stir the hearts of men to their very depths. That angel is represented as crying mightily with a strong voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.’ ‘Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.’ Are we indeed as human agencies, to co- operate with the Divine instrumentalities in sounding the message of this mighty angel who is to lighten the earth with His glory?” GCDB, February 1, 1893 par. 2
At the transfiguration Jesus was glorified by His Father. We hear Him say, “Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in Him” (John 13:31). Thus before His betrayal and crucifixion He was strengthened for His last dreadful sufferings.
As the members of the body of Christ approach the period of their last conflict, “the time of Jacob’s trouble” (ref: Jeremiah 30:5-10) they will grow up into Christ, and will partake largely of His Spirit. As the third message swells to a loud cry (Revelation 14:6-13 & 18:1-5), and as great power and glory attends the closing work, the faithful people of God will partake of that glory. It is the Latter Rain which revives and strengthens them to pass through the time of trouble. Their faces will shine with the glory of that light which attends the third angel.

“And at that time shall Michael (One Who is as El’), the Great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people (ref: Acts 5:31 & 7:7:56), and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was . . . . And at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the Book (of Life) . . . . And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness, shall shine as the stars for ever and ever !” Daniel 12:1-3
You will need to make straight paths for your feet, lest the lame be turned out of the way. We are surrounded by the lame and halting in the faith, and you are to help them, not by halting yourselves, but by standing, like men who have been tried and proven, in principle firm as a rock. I know that a work must be done for the people, or many will not be prepared to receive the Light of the angel sent down from heaven to lighten the whole earth with His glory !
Do not think that you will be found as vessels unto honor in the time of the Latter Rain, to receive the glory of God, if you are lifting up your souls unto vanity, speaking perverse things, in secret cherishing roots of bitterness. The frown of God will certainly be upon every soul who cherishes
and nurtures these roots of dissension and possesses a spirit so unlike the Spirit of Christ.

Shall we not break off our sins by righteousness, and have our conversation in heaven, whence we look for our Saviour? Shall we not talk of our Saviour until it becomes natural for us to do so? If we do not order our conversation (lives) aright, we shall not see the Salvation of God. Satan will take possession of the heart, and we shall become low and sensual.
Let us elevate the thoughts, and take hold upon things that are of real value, gaining an education here that will be of value in the world to come. Shall we not seek the Lord with earnestness, repent of our backslidings, mourn that we have neglected His Word, that we do not know the Truth better, and turn to Him will all the heart, that He may heal us, and love us freely? Today let us take a step toward heaven. . . .
The Latter Rain is to fall upon the people of God. A mighty angel is to come down from heaven, and the whole earth is to be lighted with His glory. Are we ready to take part in the glorious work of the third angel? Are our vessels ready to receive the heavenly dew? Have we defilement and sin in the heart? If so, let us cleanse the soul temple, and prepare for the showers of the Latter Rain. The Refreshing from the Presence of the LORD will never come to hearts filled with impurity. May God help us to die to self, that Christ, the hope of glory, may be formed within!
I must have the Spirit of God in my heart. I can never go forward to do the great work of God, unless the Holy Spirit rests upon my soul. “As the hart (deer) panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God” (Psalm 42:1). The day of judgment is upon us. Oh, that we may wash our robes of character, and make them white in the blood of the Lamb!
