“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of GOD’s elect?
It is GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) that justifieth (renders just, innocent, free and righteous). Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of GOD, and it is He Who also maketh intercession for us !” Romans 8:33-34
Note: Verily, we all have been brought up on charges !
And we are guilty as charged, with no hope of acquittal. “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, is guilty of all . . . . And the wages (result) of sin is death !” James 2:10 & Romans 6:23
In Zechariah chapter 3, we are allowed to see within the throne room of Almighty GOD. And there Joshua stands in shame, as a symbol of us all.
“And He showed me Joshua the high priest (old Covenant, Levitical) standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist (accuse, attack) him . . . !” Zechariah 3:1
The name or title “Satan” comes from the Hebrew “ha Satan,” which means, the accuser. And this has been his work against the children of God (Elohim), since the fall in Eden. He is the prosecuting attorney, and he works diligently to dig up all unrighteous acts we have ever done; to discredit out witness, and to condemn us as unworthy of The Father’s love and mercy !
But listen to the verdict passed in the courtroom of heaven above:
“And the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan (O Accuser); even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee ! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments . . . . We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy (menstrual) rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities (perversities, mischief), like the wind, have taken us away ! . . . . and he stood before the Angel. And He (the Angel of the LORD) answered and spake unto those that stood before Him, saying . . .
Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him (Joshua), He said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with a change of raiment !” Zechariah 3:2-4
“Behold, the Lamb of GOD, which taketh away (to remove, bear) the sin of the world !”
John 1:29
““Now is the judgment (verdict, tribunal) of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out !” John 12:31
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him (Jesus Christ, Yehushua ha Moshiac) the iniquity of us all !” Isaiah 53:6
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come Salvation, and Strength, and the Kingdom (Sovereign Reign) of our God, and the power of His Christ (Anointed, Anointing): for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our GOD day and night !” Revelation 12:10
“The LORD (Yehuwah) is my Strength (majesty, power, boldness, prevail) and my Song (music, praise), and He is become my Salvation (H3444 – Yehushua – deliverance, victory, saving health) ! . . .
The Right Hand of the LORD is exalted (raised up): the Right Hand of the LORD doeth valiantly ! I shall not die, but Live, and declare the works of the LORD. For the LORD hath chastened me sore: but He hath not given me over unto death. Open unto me the Gates of Righteousness: I will go in to them . . . boldly to the throne of Grace . . . . and I will Praise the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah). ref:Hebrews 4:16
‘ . . . Behold, I have set before thee an Open Door, and no man can shut It !’ Revelation 3:8
This Gate of the LORD . . . . I Am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved (delivered, protected, healed and made whole) . . . . into which the righteous shall enter. I will Praise Thee, for Thou hast heard me, and art become my Salvation! The Stone which the builders refused is become the Head (first, chief, captain, principle) of the corner. This is the LORD’s doing (work), and it is marvellous in our eyes !”
Psalm 118:14-23 & John 10:9
“Therefore will I look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God (Elohim – Mighty One) of my Salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) shall be a Light unto me . . . . for I Am come a Light into the world, that whosoever believeth in Me (The Word) should not abide in darkness ! . . . ref: John 12:46
I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against Him, until He please my cause (case), and execute justice for me (on my behalf). He shall bring me forth to the Light, and I shall behold His righteous-ness !” Micah 7:7-9
“Surely He hath borne (to lift, take away) our griefs (infirmities, weakness, sickness, disease), and carried our sorrows (anguish, affliction):yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted . . . But He was wounded for our transgressions (rebellion, apostasy), He was bruised (beaten repeatedly) for our iniquities. The chastisement (instruction) of (which bought) our Peace was upon Him; and by His stripes (wounds, bruises) we are healed ! . . . .
For it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief (wounded, afflicted, as a woman in travail): when Thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed (children) . . . . He shall see the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied !” Isaiah 53:4-5, 10
“Who is a God like unto Thee, that pardoneth iniquity (perversity, mischief), and passeth by (over) the transgression (rebellion, apostasy) of the remnant of His heritage (inheritance)? For He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy. He will turn again . . . . and cause His Face to shine upon us . . . He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities . . . for greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world . . . and were sin abounded, Grace doth much more abound . . . . And Thou wilt cast all of their sins into the depths of the sea ! ref: Psalm 80:7, I John 4:4, Romans 5:20
Thou wilt perform the Truth . . . . Thy Word is Truth (Verily So!) . . . . to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which Thou hast sworn (Oath, Promised) unto our fathers from the days of old !” Micah 7:18-20 & John 17:17
And “in those days, and in that time, saith the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah), the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve !” Jeremiah 50:20
For “I, even I, Am he that blotteth out thy transgressions (rebellions, apostasy) for Mine Own sake, and I will not remember (bring to mind, mark or keep record of) thy sins (error, side slip, habitual sinfulness) !”
