“And I will establish My Covenant between Me and thee and thy Seed after thee in their generations for an Everlasting Covenant, to be a God (Elohim – Almighty One) unto thee, and to thy Seed after thee !” Genesis 17:7
To all men this Covenant offered pardon, and the assisting grace* (G5485) of God for future obedience through faith in Christ. It also promised them Eternal Life on condition of fidelity to God’s law. Thus the patriarchs received the hope of Salvation !
“That the Blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the Promise of the Spirit through faith . . . !” Galatians 3:14
“And that the righteousness of the law might be fill full in us, who walk not by after (by) the flesh, but by the Spirit . . . . For it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts . . . !” Romans 8:4 & Zechariah 4:6
Note: “The creative energy that called the worlds into existence is in the Word of God. This Word imparts power; it begets Life. Every command is a Promise; accepted by the will, received into the soul, it brings with it the Life of the Infinite One. It transforms the nature and re-creates the soul in the image of God. The Life thus imparted is in like manner sustained. ‘By every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God . . . !” – Education p.126
Note: What was this “Blessing” which the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) promised unto Abraham and to his seed ?
“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel; for He hath visited and redeemed His people, and hath raised up an Horn (mighty one) of Salvation for us, in the house of His servant David . . . . As He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets, which have been since the world began . . .
That we should be Saved (delivered, rescued, set free, healed) from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us . . . To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember His holy Covenant; The Oath which He sware to our father Abraham . . . that He would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand (power) of our enemies, might serve Him without fear . . . in holiness and righteousness before Him (in His Presence), all the days of our lives !” Luke 1:67-75“Unt
o you first, God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to Bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities . . . !” Acts 3:26 & ref: John 14:15-18
The Abrahamic Covenant was ratified by the blood of Christ, and it is called the second, or “new,” Covenant, because the blood by which it was sealed was shed after the blood of the first covenant. The Covenant of Grace is not a new Truth, for it existed in the mind of God from all eternity. This is why it is called the Ever-lasting Covenant.
There is hope for us only as we come under the Abrahamic Covenant, which is the Covenant of Grace by faith in Christ Jesus. The gospel preached to Abraham, through which he had hope, was the same gospel that is preached to us today. . . . Abraham looked unto Jesus, Who is also the Author and the Finisher of our faith ! ref: Hebrews 12:1-2
“That the Blessing of Abraham might come on* (cause to be, generate, bring into being) the gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the Promise of the Spirit through faith . . . !” Galatians 3:14 & Titus 3:5-6

For He spake in a certain place of the Seventh day on this wise, And God did Rest the seventh day from all His works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into My Rest . . . There remaineth therefore a Rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into His Rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His . . .
Let us labour therefore to enter into that Rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief . . . !”
