The Righteousness which is by Faith ? – part.1

Righteousness-Righteous-WDGSA1     “And the work of righteousness shall be peace, and the effect of righteousness shall be quietness and assurance for ever . . . !”
Isaiah 32:15-17

So many of God’s children are beginning to see that which the new testament Scriptures are so very clear upon. When Christ ascend up on high, He “sat down on the right hand of His Father,” “waiting until His enemies be made His footstool . . . !”   Praise the LORD, Halleluyah !

ref: Ephesians 1:19-21, Mark 12:36, Luke 20:40-43, Acts 2:30-33, Hebrews 1:13 and Hebrews 10:12-20

The Light streaming from the open gates of heaven is beginning to fall upon us, as never before (Joel 2:28-32). And many are for the first time beginning to see and understand, that which our Saviour spoke to His disciples on the mount of Olivet, just before He ascend to take the throne. Those Words mean everything to us . . . “All power in heaven and on earth, are now given unto Me (as the Last Adam). Go ye therefore, and proclaim the Glad Tidings . . . and he that believeth shall be saved (delivered, rescued, set free, healed and made whole) !”
Matthew 28:18-19 & Mark 16:15-20 and I Corinthians 15:45

Quote –     “But Christ, by His sacrifice paying the penalty of sin, would not only redeem man, but recover the dominion which he had forfeited. All that was lost by the first Adam will be restored by the second. Says the prophet, “O Tower of the flock, the Stronghold of the daughter of Zion, unto Thee shall it come, even the first dominion.” Micah 4:8. And the apostle Paul points forward to the “redemption of the purchased possession.” Ephesians 1:14. – Patriarchs and Prophets, p.67

Quote –     “When Adam fell and lost the liberty of a son of God (Luke 3:38), and brought himself into captivity to Satan, infinite pity filled the heart of Jesus. He took the field of conflict to fight in man’s behalf, that all who desired to leave the cruel bondage of the “god of this world,” might be set free, to serve the Living God.

Through all the lowly experiences of life, the exalted Son of God, consented to pass, step by step, from the manger to the cross; for “He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham.” And “He was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” In the wilderness He fasted forty days, and was tried by every subtle temptation that the prince of darkness could devise. Weak and emaciated from hunger, worn and haggard with mental agony, He suffered the depth of temptation and sorrow, and therefore “He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him.”

The nature of man had become so weakened by transgression, that it was an impossibility for him to overcome in his own strength; for he was led captive at the will of Satan; but, through the strength of Christ, every one may be an overcomer. We may be more than conquerors through Him Who has “loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.” – Review & Herald, February 28, 1888 Quote – “Know that Christ is to be set forth among you (within you) . . . and all that was lost in Adam, the cross of Christ fully restores to every believing soul . . . !”        – Youth Instructor, July 7, 1898

Let me share just one or two thoughts which the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) has given to us, to inspire us with the faith to move the mountains which stand in the way . . .

QuoteMany things were spoken which I will not now present to you. I was told that there was need of great spiritual revival among the men who bear responsibilities in the cause of God. There was not perfection in all points on either side of the question under discussion. We must search the Scriptures for evidences of Truth (Verity of God’s spoken Word). ref: John 17:17.

“There are but few, even of those who claim to believe it, that comprehend the third angel’s message (Revelation 14:6-13), and yet this is the message for this time. It is present Truth. But how few take up this message in its true bearing, and present it to the people in its power! With many it has but little force. Said my guide, “There is much Light yet to shine forth from the law of God and the gospel (Glad Tidings) of righteousness. This message, understood in its true character, and proclaimed in the Spirit, will lighten the earth with its glory.

The great decisive question is to be brought before all nations, tongues, and peoples. The closing work of the third angel’s message will be attended with a power that will send the rays of the Sun of Righteousness (Malachi 4:1-6) into all the highways and byways of life, and decisions will be made for God as supreme Governor; His law will be looked upon as the rule of His government.” – 1888 Materials, p.166.

Quote –     “The exceeding great and precious Promises ( II Peter 1:4) given us in the Holy Scriptures have been lost sight of to a great extent, just as the enemy of all righteousness designed that they should be. He has cast his own dark shadow between us and our God, that we may not see the true character of God. The LORD has proclaimed Himself to be “merciful (full of mercy) and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and Truth.” Exodus 34:1-7

Several have written to me, inquiring if the message of justification* by faith is the third angel’s message, and I have answered, “It is the third angel’s message in verity.” The prophet declares, “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.” Brightness, glory, and power are to be connected with the third angel’s message, and conviction will follow wherever it is preached in demonstration of the Spirit. How will any of our brethren know when this Light shall come to the people of God?    As yet, we certainly have not seen the Light that answers to this description . . . !”

Quote –     “None but God can subdue the pride of man’s heart. We cannot save (deliver, rescue, set free, heal) ourselves. We cannot regenerate* ourselves (Titus 3:5-6). In the heavenly courts there will be no song sung, To me that loved myself, and washed myself, redeemed myself, unto me be glory and honor, blessing and praise. But this is the keynote of the song that is sung by many here in this world. They do not know what it means to be meek and lowly in heart; and they do not mean to know this, if they can avoid it. The whole gospel is comprised in learning of Christ, His meekness and lowliness. What is justification* by faith? It is the work of God in laying the glory of man in the dust, and doing for man that which it is not in his power to do for himself . . . !” – Special Testimonies to Ministers and Workers (Series A, No. 9, 1897), pages 61, 62. {TM 456.3}

I encourage you to look up the word “Justification” and “Justified” in the original Greek and Hebrew . . . It has amazed me at what the LORD has placed before our very eyes, and yet we have not seen as He desires.

Justified (H6663, G1344) = to cleanse, to clear, to make right, to render, declare innocent, holy and righteous !

Now read again those testimonies above, and insert the actual Biblical definition in it’s place. And then read aloud the Words of our Saviour, as He has given them in the Old Testament Scriptures . . .

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and His Maker . . . Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons (children begotten), and concerning the work of My hands command ye Me. For I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens (Psalm 33:6-9), and all their hosts have I commanded (spoken into existence) . . . !

For Israel (those who are children by faith – Galatians 3:6-8) shall be saved in the LORD, with an everlasting Salvation . . . ye shall not be ashamed, nor confounded (Romans 10:8-13) world without end . . . For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God (Elohim – the Mighty One) that formed the earth and made it . . . . I have not spoken in secret, in some dark place of the earth. Yea, I said not unto Jacob, Seek ye Me in vain . . . I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right . . . !” Isaiah 45:11-13 and Isaiah 45:17-19

“Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit saith . . . Today, if you will hear My Voice, harden not your hearts . . . . For unto us was the Glad Tidings proclaimed, as well as unto them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into Rest, as He said . . . !” Hebrews 3:7-8 thru Hebrews 4:1-2, and ref: Matthew 11:28

“Look unto Me, and be ye saved (delivered, rescued, set free, healed and made whole), all the ends of the earth. For I Am God (Elohim – the Mighty One), and there is none else . . . For I have sworn by Myself (Hebrews 6:13-14), the Word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness (faithfulness), and shall not return . . . unto Me void !     Surely, shall one (they) say, In the LORD have I righteousness and strength . . . . For in the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory . . . !”
Isaiah 45:22-25 and ref: Romans 9:8

“For God hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise . . . and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound (put to shame) the mighty . . . And the base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen. Yea, and things what are not, to bring to nought things that are . . . So that no flesh should glory in His Presence . . . for it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit (John 6:63), saith the LORD of hosts !” I Corinthians 1:27-29 and ref: Zechariah 4:6

“For (but) of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of (by) God is made unto us Wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and Redemption. That, according as it is written . . . He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord !”
I Corinthians 1:31 and II Corinthians 10:17

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments (ref: Revelation 19:11-16) from Bozrah? this (He) that is glorious in His apparel, travelling in the greatness of His strength? . . . I that speak in righteousness, Am Mighty to save . . . !” Isaiah 63:1

“And this is His name whereby He shall be called . . . THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS ! and all that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed !” Jeremiah 23:5-6 and Isaiah 45:24

May the LORD God Almighty (Yehuwah El’ Shaddai) bless and keep you this week, strong in faith, and the unfailing power of His Life-giving Word !
