“Grace* and peace unto you (Ephesians 2:13-14) . . . from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne. And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful Witness (martyr – Romans 6:10), and the First Begotten of the dead . . . even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8), and the Prince of the kings of the earth . . .
Unto Him that loved us, and washed* us from our sins in His Own blood (Leviticus 17:11 and Isaiah 53:12), and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father . . . to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen !” Revelation 1:4-6
“This then is the message* (pledge of Divine assurance of good) which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him (God), and yet walk in darkness* (shadiness, dimness, obscurity), we lie, and do not the Truth . . .
But if we walk in the Light (Psalm 119:105 and John 1:1-14), as He (Christ Jesus) is in the Light, we have fellowship* (association, union) one with Another . . . and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin . . . !”

“ I have met persons who seemed to feel that it was a virtue to be found mourning, and complaining of their darkness and spiritual misery. O that God would enlighten them, that they might see how faith in a dying Saviour is the stimulating power of the Christian’s life! The broken body, the shed blood, of Him Who died on Calvary (Romans 6:1-6), will avail for him who feels his lost condition. O that those who are in darkness might see the love, the forbearance, the goodness, of our heavenly Father! I would repeat these precious Promises that are full of comfort, light, and hope !
Jesus is the only hope of the soul. By faith every soul may say with the Psalmist, “Whom have I in heaven but Thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.” Psalm 73:25.
The moment the sinner lays hold of Christ by faith, that moment his sins are no longer upon him. Christ stands in the sinner’s place, and declares, “I have borne his guilt (Isaiah 53:1-12), I have been punished for his transgressions, I have taken his sins, and put My righteousness upon him !” ref: Zechariah 3:1-7 and Isaiah 53:1-12 and II Corinthians 5:21 and I Peter 2:24 and Jeremiah 23:5-6
In Christ the sinner stands guiltless before the law . . . !”

“Yea, doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge (knowing) of Christ Jesus my Lord (John 17:3 and Romans 10:9-10) . . . For Whom I have suffered* (endured, allowed) the loss of all things, and so count them but dung, that I may win Christ . . .
And be found in Him . . . not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that righteousness which is through the faith of Christ (Galatians 3:23) . . . Yea, the righteousness which is of God by faith !”
Philippians 3:8-9

“In order to be candidates for heaven we must meet the requirement of the law: “Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself” Luke 10:27.
But we can do this only as we grasp by faith the righteousness of Christ [appropriating it as our very own].
By beholding Jesus we receive a living, expanding principle* in the heart, and the Holy Spirit carries on the work, and the believer advances from grace to greater grace, from strength to greater strength, from character to more perfect character. He conforms (is transformed) to the image of Christ, until in spiritual growth he attains unto the measure of the full stature in Christ Jesus. ref: Ephesians 4:13
Thus Christ makes an end of the curse of sin (Daniel 9:24),* and sets the believing soul free from its action and effect . . . Christ alone is able to do this !”

“In Whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands (but by the Spirit of the Living God), in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ . . . Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him . . . through faith of (in) the operation* (surgery, effectual working, energy, power) of God (Theos – Deity, Divinity), Who hath raised Him from the dead . . . and set Him at His Own right hand in the heavens ! ref: Ephesians 1:20-21
And you _________ (your name), being dead in your sins, and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses*. . . !” Colossians 2:11-13
“But (for) now, in Christ Jesus . . . ye who sometimes (previously) were far off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ . . . For He is our Peace, Who hath made both God and man One (John 17:21), and hath broken down the middle wall of partition (Hebrews 10:16-23) between us . . .
Having abolished in His Own flesh (Romans 8:2-4) the enmity,* even (of) the law of commandments contained in ordinances, for to make in Himself of twain, one new (renewed) man, and so making peace . . . !”
Ephesians 2:13-15
“Because the carnal mind is enmity* against God . . . for it is not subject to the law of God (Deity), neither indeed can be. So then they that are yet in the flesh cannot please God !” Romans 8:7-8
“Marvel not that I say unto you ________ (your name), Ye must be begotten again !” John 3:3-7, ref: I Peter 1:22-25
“For if any man be in Christ Jesus, he is a new creation; old things are passed away, Behold, all things are become* new . . . !” II Corinthians 5:17
“For the law of the Spirit of Life (John 4:24) in Christ Jesus, hath made me free from the law of sin and death . . . for the wages of even one sin is verily death (Romans 6:23) . . . For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and in exchange for sin, condemned sin* (Daniel 9:24) in the flesh . . .
So that the righteousness of the law (of God, of Deity) might be filled full in us, who walk (live) not after (by) the flesh, but after (by) the Spirit !” Romans 8:2-4
“Not by might, nor by power . . . but by My Spirit (John 6:63), saith the LORD of hosts !” Zechariah 4:6
“For the just* (justified, innocent, holy and righteous) shall live by faith . . . !”
