Ephesians part. 1
The Glad Tidings and Grace of GOD !
“Now unto Him that able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to that power which worketh
in us !” Ephesians 3:20
“Paul, an apostle (one sent) of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful (those full of faith) in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and Peace (Shalom), from God our Father, and from the Lord (Adoni – Sovereign King) Jesus Christ (Yehushua ha Moshiac) !” Ephesians 1:1-2
Paul is speaking with the authority which each of us have also been given by the Word of Almighty GOD.
For in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 28:18-19, our Lord and Saviour has said. “All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them . . . !”
Paul then blesses each one (you and I) who reads this letter, in saying, Grace be unto you, and Peace !
Grace = G5485, benefit, favour, especially the Divine Influence upon your heart. This is the Promise of the Holy Spirit. And this promised Blessing is unto every child of the Most High, who will reach out in faith and take hold of the hand of Jesus (Yehushua). This Promise is found throughout all of Scripture!
“That the Blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ (Yehushua ha Moshiac); that we might receive the Promise of the Spirit through faith !” Galatians 3:14
“And in thy Seed shall all nations of the earth be Blessed; because thou hast obeyed My voice !” Genesis 22:18
“What shall we say then, that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? For if Abraham were justified by works, then he hath whereof to glory (to be proud); but not before GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah). For what saith the Scripture? Abraham believed GOD, and it was counted (reckoned) unto him for righteousness !”
Romans 4:1-3
“Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered (in obedience) Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was his faith made perfect ?” James 2:21-22
“Now to Abraham and his Seed were the Promises made. He (Yehuwah) saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of One, And to thy Seed, which is Christ (The Anointed) !” Galatians 3:16
“For all the Promises of GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) in Him . . . the Word which was made flesh . . . are Yea, and in Him, Amen, unto the glory of GOD by us !” II Corinthians 1:20 & John 1:14
For He is “the Author (Beginning) and the Finisher (End) of our faith !” Hebrews 12:2
“Blessed be the God (deity, exceeding Divinity) and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath Blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places (in the heavens) in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him (Jesus, Yehushua) before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” Ephesians 1:3-4
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious (bought at such a great price) Promises: that by these we might be made partakers of the Divine nature . . . !” II Peter 1:4
For I Am “able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the throne of His glory with exceeding joy !” Jude 1:24
“For the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) hath taken away thy judgments . . . blotting out the handwriting of ordinances which was against us . . . He hath cast out thine enemy . . . having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (His cross) . . . The King of Israel,
even the LORD is in the midst of thee . . . Christ in you, the hope of glory ! . . . thou shalt not see evil any more.
. . . . For the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) thy God (Elohim – Mighty One) in the midst (heart) of thee is Mighty; He will save (deliver, rescue, set you free, heal, restore thee whole), He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest* in His love, and He will joy over thee with singing !” Zephaniah 3:14-17 & Colossians 2:14-15
Saved, Salvation = (G4982, 4991, H3467, 3444) deliverance, rescue, set free, heal, make whole
“Having predestinated us (ordained, determined in advance) unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will . . . . For the LORD is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance ! . . .” Ephesians 1:5 & II Peter 3:9
Note on the word “predestinated.” Almighty GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah Elohim) has already determined and ordained, that all those who shall believe in and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ (Yehushua ha Moshiac) shall be adopted into His royal family. And as joint heirs with His Only Begotten Son, they shall be more than Conquerors through Him that love us !
“For both He that sanctifieth (sets apart for a holy purpose) and they who are sanctified are all of One: for which cause He (Jesus, Yehushua) is not ashamed to call them brethren. Saying, I will declare Thy Name unto My brethren, in the midst of the church (congregation) will I sing praise unto Thee !” Hebrews 2:11-12 ref: John 17:20-23
“To the praise of the glory (honour) of His Grace (Divine Influence), wherein He hath made us accepted (highly favored) in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:6
“For He received from GOD (The Almighty) the Father, honour and glory, when there came such a Voice to Him from the excellent glory, saying, This is My Beloved Son, in Whom I Am well pleased !” II Peter 1:17
“And again, I will put My trust in Him (The Father). And again, behold I and the children which GOD hath given Me !” Hebrews 2:13
“Therefore if any man be in Christ (Moshiac – the Anointing), he is a new creation: old things are passed away; Behold all things are become new !” II Corinthians 5:17
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate (sanctified – set apart for Holiness), saith the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah), and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the LORD Almighty !” II Corinthians 6:17-18
“For we are bound to give thanks always to GOD for you, brethren beloved of the Lord (Adoni – Sovereign King), because GOD hath from the beginning chosen you . . . unto Salvation through sanctification (consecration, and purification) of the Spirit and belief of the Truth . . . . Thy Word is Truth (Verily So) !”
II Thessalonians 2:13 & John 17:17
May we each eat of these Words as the Bread of Life, and drink of this Living Water flowing from the throne of Grace !
