Grace & Peace be unto you !
Chapter 1.2
“Grace be unto you, and Peace (Shalom), from GOD our Father (He Who has begotten us), and from the Lord (Adoni – Sovereign King) Jesus Christ !” Ephesians 1:2
This blessing of Peace, spoken by the apostle Paul upon all, and unto all who believe, is very powerful ! For the Word itself contains the very Promise made to each of us, before the foundation of the world.
Peace = (Greek -1515), to join, at one, quietness, rest, to set at one again !
This Word has as it’s foundation the Promise found in the Hebrew word, Shalom. And it is this Hebrew word which lends such beauty and power to our understanding of that blessing pronounce by Paul in the letter to the congregation at Ephesus.
Peace = (Hebrew -7965 Shalom, from 7999), safe, rest, welfare, health, to be at peace; to make whole, to complete, to make amends, to end, to finish, make good, to recompense, to restore, to perfect !
It is this Blessing which Paul desires above all else that we may receive by faith in Him Who has Promised it !
And it is this Blessing, which he lays as the foundation for all other works of righteousness which are done in our lives. The works of righteousness done in us, by Christ Jesus (Moshiac Yehushua).
“In Whom we have Redemption through His blood (the Life is in the blood, Leviticus 17:11) the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace (the Divine Influence upon our heart); Wherein He hath abounded (exceeded, caused to excel above measure) toward us . . . .” Ephesians 1:7a
Redemption = (G 629, 3083), ransom in full, salvation, deliverance, to loosen, atonement
Let us look very closely at the tie between Redemption and that Peace which passeth all understanding, which has been given us assuredly through our Lord Jesus Christ (Adoni Yehushua ha Moshiac).
“For unto us a Child is born . . . and in Him shall all nations of the earth be Blessed . . . unto us a Son is given . . . for GOD so loved this world, that He gave up His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish . . . and His name shall be called . . . The Prince (Governor) of Peace !” Isaiah 9:6 ref: Genesis 26:3-4, John 3:16
For “Thou wilt keep him in perfect Peace, whose mind is stayed (rests, is established) on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD (Yehuwah) for ever: for in the LORD (YAH) JEHOVAH (Yehuwah) is everlasting strength !” Isaiah 26:3-4, ref: Psalm 68:4 (JAH, YAH)

“And behold, a woman, which was diseased (dis-eased) with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Him (Jesus, Yehushua), and touched the hem of His garment (ref: Malachi 4:2): For she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole !
And Jesus turned Him about, and when He saw her, He said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole . . . . Go in Peace !” Matthew 9:20-22 & Luke 8:47-48

“What shall I say? He hath both spoken unto me, and Himself hath done it . . . . Behold, for Peace I had great bitterness: but Thou hast in love to my soul, delivered me from the pit of corruption: for Thou hast cast all my sins behind Thy back !” Isaiah 38:17
“Awake, awake; put on thy Strength (the LORD our Righteousness), O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city . . . Thy city and Thy people, which are called by Thy Name . . . for henceforth there shall no more come into thee, the uncircumcised and the unclean ! ref: Daniel 9:19
Shake thyself from the dust; Arise and sit down, O Jerusalem (City of Peace) . . . seated with Christ in heavenly places . . . Loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be Redeemed without money . . . . ref: Ephesians 2:6
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth Glad Tidings (gospel), that publisheth Peace; that bringeth good tidings of good (beauty, cheer, favour, gladness, joy, kindness, love, well favored), that proclaimeth Salvation (deliverance, freedom, victory, healing, to make whole); that sayeth unto Zion,
Thy God reigneth !” Isaiah 52:1-3,7
“For He was wounded for our transgressions (rebellions), He was bruised (beaten repeatedly) for our iniquities (mischief, perversity): the chastisement of (instruction which bought) our Peace was upon Him; and with His stripes (wounds, marks) we are healed !” Isaiah 53:5, ref: Matthew 8:17 and I Peter 2:24

“For He (The Almighty Father) hath made Him (Christ Jesus) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him ! . . . . For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted*, and in the day of Salvation have I succoured (rescued, helped, relieved) thee:
Behold, now (Today) is the accepted time;* Behold, Now is the day of Salvation !” II Corinthians 5:21-6:2
“Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit saith, Today (Now), if ye will hear His Voice, harden not your hearts, as you did in the provocation (irritation, embitterness, exasperate) in the wilderness . . . !” Hebrews 3:7-8
“For He is our Peace, Who hath made both (God and man) one, and hath broken down the middle wall (veil) of partition (division) between us !” Ephesians 2:14
“And having made Peace through the blood of His cross, by Him (Jesus Christ) to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether (forasmuch both) things in earth, and things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in mind, by your wicked works, yet Now hath He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight !” Colossians 1:20-22
“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood (Life . . . for the life is in the blood) of Jesus (Yehushua), by a new (recently slain), and living Way . . . I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me . . . which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say His flesh. ref: Hebrews 4:16, ref: Leviticus 17:11
. . . And having an High Priest over the house of GOD . . . called of GOD an High Priest after the order of
Melchisedec (King of Righteousness and king of Peace) . . . Let us draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled (with the blood of the Lamb) from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with Pure Water. Let us hold fast . . . for He is faithful, that hath Promised !” Hebrews 10:19-23, 5:10, 7:1-3
“Behold the Man Whose name is The BRANCH; and He shall grow up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah): Even He shall build the temple of the LORD; and He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon His throne . . .
And He shall be a Priest upon His throne: and the Counsel of Peace shall between Them Both !” Zechariah 6:12-13
