The Living Bread from Heaven? -part 2

“For as the Rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth . . . for the LORD God (Yehuwah Elohim) formed man of the dust (clay) of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life . . . and maketh it bring forth and bud (fruits of the Spirit), that it may give Seed to the sower, and Bread to the eater. So shall My Word be that goeth out of My mouth . . .

It shall not return unto Me void, but It shall accomplish that which I please,
and It shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent It . . . !”     Isaiah 55:10-11
‘All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe (a Promise) to do, so that ye may live . . . And thou shalt remember
all the Way in which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee (that thou mightest know) to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep His commandments, or no?
And He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna (ref: Exodus 16:4) which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know . . . . That He might make thee know, That man doth not live by bread only, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) doth man live! And thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. And thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, (ref: Hebrews 12:4-8) so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee !
Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in His Ways, and to fear (reverence) Him. For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of Water, of Fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills . . .’ Deuteronomy 8:1-7
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for heaviness; that they might be called Trees of Righteousness, the planting (garden) of the LORD, that He might be glorified . . . !” Isaiah 61:3
‘Arise and shine, for thy Light is come, and the Glory of the LORD (Yehuwah) is risen upon thee !’   Isaiah 60:1
‘. . . . Neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: It shall bring forth new fruit according to His months, because their Waters, they issued out of the Sanctuary (Christ Jesus – ref: Isaiah 8:14): and the fruit thereof shall be for food, and the leaf thereof shall be for medicine !’    Ezekiel 47:12
“And he shewed me a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the Throne of GOD and of the Lamb . . . and on either side of the River, was there the Tree of Life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the Tree were for the healing of the nations . . .!” Revelation 22:1-2
And Jesus said unto them, I have meat (food) to eat that ye know not of . . . My meat (food) is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work !’                John 4:32-34

‘He sent
forth His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions! Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness (ref: Exodus 33:18-19), and for His wonderful (full of wonder) works to the children of men. And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing!’     Psalm 107:20-22Labour not for the meat (food) which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting Life! . . . Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of GOD? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of GOD, that ye believe on Him(The Word) Whom He hath sent !”   John 6:27-29

Let us labour therefore to enter into that Rest, lest any man fall (stumble, fail) after the same example of unbelief . . . For unto us was the Glad Tidings preached, as well as unto them: but the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it . . . !”
Hebrews 4:11, 2

For the Bread of GOD is He which cometh down from heaven, and giveth Life unto the world . . . Then Jesus (Yehushua) said unto them, I Am the Bread (food) of Life: he that cometh to Me (The Word) shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me (The Word) shall never thirst !

. . . Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me (The Word) hath everlasting Life. For I Am that Bread of Life! Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. But this is the Bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I Am the Living Bread which came down from heaven . . .

As the Father hath sent Me, and I live by The Father . . . for GOD is a Spirit, and they that worship (serve and obey) Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (Verity) ! . . . So he that eateth Me (The Word), even he shall live by Me !’             John 6:33, 35, 47-57

Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us (our filthy garments), and we pine away (are consumed) in them, how should (shall) we then live?  Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD (Adoni Yehuvee’) . . . !’    Ezekiel 33:10-11

For it is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life ! . . . For the Word of God is quick (Living) and powerful (full of power), and sharper than any twoedged sword ! . . . But there are some of you that believe not !’                   John 6:63-64 & Hebrews 4:11-12

“And from that time many of His disciples went back (turned back, fell away), and walked no more with Him. Then said Jesus (Yehushua) unto the twelve, Will ye also go away ?   Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the Words of Eternal life. And we believe and are sure that Thou art that Christ (Anointed One), the Son of the Living GOD !”    John 6:66-69

For we are not of them who draw back (to shrink, timidity) unto perdition (destruction); but of them that believe to the saving of the soul . . . !”     Hebrews 10:39

Quote:     “The Lord is not glorified by the tame supplications which show that nothing is expected. He desires every one who believes, to approach the Throne of Grace with earnestness and assurance. Do we realize the magnitude of the work in which we are engaged? If we did, there would be more fervency in our prayers. Our entreaties would rise before God with convincing earnestness. We would plead for power as a hungry child pleads for bread. If we realized the greatness of the Gift, if we desired the attainment of the Blessing, our petit-ions would ascend with earnestness, importunity, urgency. It would be as if we were at the gate of heaven, soliciting entrance.

I do not understand the tameness in the requests offered to God. We are to urge our way into the very Presence of God, into the Holy Place of the Most High. We are to plead for that which we most need, the Bread of Life, the leaf from the Tree of Life.

As Jacob wrestled with the angel, saying, “I will not let Thee go, except thou Bless me,” so we are to wrestle in prayer until we prevail. We are to ask with an urgency that will not be turned away, that expects God to bestow His blessings with a liberality that is an assurance to all fear.

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and His Maker, Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons, and concerning the work of My hands command ye Me. I have made the earth, and created man upon it. I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.” Isaiah 45:11. This is the Word of the LORD, which is Yea and Amen !

Then let your prayers be more fervent, more heavily weighted with faith and hope. Let the intensity of your desire be proportionate to the value of the object you wish to obtain. The greatness of the Gift and our need of It should fill us with a hungering desire for it . . . !”
