So great Salvation . . . ?

pursue Godliness 1     “What shall we then say to these things? . . . . If God be for us, who then can be against us ? . . .”
Romans 8:31-37

“In order to fight successfully in the battle against sin, you must keep close to Jesus. Do not talk unbelief . . . you have no excuse for doing this. . . . Unbelief always separates the soul from Christ.

It is not praiseworthy to talk of our weakness and discouragement. Let each one say, “I am grieved that I yield to temptation, that my prayers are so feeble, my faith so weak. I have no excuse to plead for being dwarfed in my religious life. But I am seeking to obtain completeness of character in Christ.

I have sinned, and yet I love Jesus. I have fallen many times, and yet He has reached out His hand to save me. I have told Him all about my mistakes. I have confessed with shame and sorrow that I have dishonored Him. I have looked to the cross, of Calvary and have said, All this He suffered for me !

For He (God) hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin . . . . that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him . . . !”   II Corinthians 5:21

And (for) in that He died, He died unto sin (faithlessness transgression) once, but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God . . . . For the Just shall live by faith !”   Romans 6:10 & 1:17

For as by one man’s (Adam’s) disobedience, many* (all together) were made sinners, So by the obedience of One (Jesus, Yehushua) shall many be made righteous . . . !”   Romans 5:12-19

“Likewise reckon* ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord (Sovereign King) . . . . for sin shall no longer have dominion over you, for ye are not under the law (it’s condemnation), but under Grace !”     Romans 6:11-14

Grace (G5485) = the Divine Influence upon the heart, and It’s reflection as seen in the life !

The Holy Spirit has shown me my ingratitude, my sin in putting Christ to open shame. He Who knows no sin has forgiven my sin. He calls me to a higher, nobler life, and I press on to the things that are before . . . . !”

“For He that spared not His Own (Only Begotten*) Son, but delivered Him up in exchange for us all . . . How shall He not with Him also freely give* (grant favor, kindness, pardon, rescue, deliver, forgive) us all things?     Who shall lay any thing to the charges of God’s elect?  It is God that justifieth (declares us innocent, holy and righteous) !

Who is he that condemneth?   It is Christ that died, Yea, rather, that is risen again, and Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also maketh intercession for us (in our behalf) . . . . Nay, in all these things we are more than Conquerors through Him that loved us . . . while we were yet dead in our sins !”   Romans 8:32-37 & Ephesians 2:1-5

And you being dead in your sins, and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened (given new Life) together with Him . . . having forgiven you all trespasses* !”     Colossians 2:11-13

Who His Own self bare our sins in His Own body on the tree (Galatians 3:10-14), that we being now dead to sins, should live (by faith) unto righteousness . . . . and by Whose stripes ye were healed !”
I Peter 2:24 & Isaiah 53:1-12

“What shall we say then?   Shall we continue in sin (faithless transgression), so that grace* may abound?
God forbid !  How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein ?”     Romans 6:1-2

“For the law of the Spirit of (and) Life in Christ Jesus hath made you free from the law of sin and death (Romans 6:23). For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and in exchange for sin, condemned sin in the flesh . . . .

That the righteousness of the law might be filled full in us, who walk (live) not by the flesh, but by the Spirit !”
Romans 8:2-4
